Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Company Information

1.1 The website experience.skigudauri.ge is operated by Ski Holidays LLC, a licensed travel company based in Georgia. Ski Holidays (referred to as “we”, “our”, or “the Company”) is a destination management division of Ski Gudauri, specialising in corporate ski trips, team-building programs, and winter travel experiences in Gudauri.

1.2 The purchase/payment of any travel services offered by Ski Holidays constitutes a contractual arrangement between the Traveler (“you”) and Ski Holidays, and represents your acceptance of the Ski Holidays Terms & Conditions. You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. As the lead traveler, you accept, and confirm you have authority and consent to accept, these Terms & Conditions for yourself and all members of your traveling party.

1.3 Ski Holidays reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time prior to you making a booking request.

2. Visa & Passport

2.1 It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements necessary for your holiday in Georgia. You are responsible for obtaining independently and paying for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements.
Ski Holidays cannot accept liability for any traveler refused entry to Georgia due to the failure of the traveler to carry correct documentation or adhere to specific entry and exit requirements.

3. Payments & Cancellations

3.1. When you make a booking with Ski Holidays, you accept the applicable cancellation policies as displayed in your invoice in the “Terms of the booking” section.

3.2 Please note that certain rates, fees or offers are not eligible for cancellation, refund or change. Please check the booking details in your invoice prior to confirming your reservation.

3.3 Please note that we may not hold any services for you until we receive full payment / deposit, meaning that services may become unavailable or prices may increase, in which case you will be responsible for paying the increased price, and we will not be responsible if services become unavailable.

3.4 If we fail to receive a payment from you by the due date for payment in clear funds, then this will be deemed a cancellation by you (see below).

3.5 In most cases, a deposit of 30% is required at the time of the booking (please check your invoice for more info).

3.6 All reservations made 45 days or less prior to the check-in date are 100% due at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 If you cancel your booking, we will impose cancellation charges as follows:
  Outside 45 days before arrival: you will receive a full refund
  45 days prior to arrival: Loss of deposit
  30 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fees

Please note that no refund is possible for non-refundable bookings, check the “Terms of the booking” section in your invoice for more info.

4.2 If we cancel:
4.2.1 We reserve the right to cancel any booking. However, this would only become necessary in exceptional circumstances. In such an event, we would endeavor to offer you an alternative. If this were not possible or acceptable, we would issue a full refund. No additional compensation will be paid over and above the total sum received from you.

4.2.2 Ski Holidays accept no responsibility for, and shall not be liable in respect of, any loss, damage, alterations, delays or changes arising from circumstances outside our control, such as but not restricted to: industrial dispute, civil strife, fire, adverse weather conditions, terrorist activity, natural disaster, technical problems with connecting transport, cancellation of scheduled or charter airlines, closure or congestion of airports or ports, or financial failure of contractors. 

5. Unused & Denied Services.

5.1 No refunds will be made for any travel services not utilised, whether by choice or because of late arrival or early departure. This includes the failure of transport to operate according to schedule, which we disclaim responsibility for.

6. Insurance

6.1 The travel insurance is not included with the travel services and all medical costs and other costs involved must be paid by the Traveler. Ski Holidays strongly recommends having a valid insurance that would cover against cancellation charges, unexpected curtailment of your vacation, medical expenses, skiing and snowboarding in all conditions, incl, off-piste and beyond the marked routes, repatriation, loss or damage to luggage and personal liability claims against you.

7. Weather

7.1 In the event of adverse weather conditions that may impact travel, Ski Holidays will not be held responsible for guests impacted travel arrangements. This includes lack of snow at the resort that affects skiing conditions or closure of the road due to excess snow.

7.2 In the event of guests not being able to reach the resort due to road closures, additional accommodation that may be needed in Gudauri or Tbilisi will be at the guest’s own expense. Ski Holidays can only assist with arranging alternate accommodations in the event of this happening.
